Crossrail Project Receives Royal Assent

The Crossrail Bill has received royal assent, making it an official act of parliament and meaning that the project will now move to the "delivery" phase.
The high speed train link will link Maidenhead in the West with Abbey Wood and Shenfield in the East, going under central London. New stations will be need to be built to service the line, including a new Bond Street station. The first visualisation of that new station has been unveiled (see below)
Digging for the project could start in 2010 with completion not expected until 2017, which could mean years of disruption to local residents. What do you think about the Crossrail project?
