Tube Passengers Led Out Of Tunnel By Foot

A London Underground train broke down yesterday between Baker St and Bond St stations. After a two hour wait for passengers, many of whom were standing and suffering from dehydration, they were led out of the train and along the tunnel by foot. They had to walk 300 yards across gravel and sleepers before they emerged from Bond Street station.
